Does the AI read every recording automatically?
No. Cloud intelligence is opt-in. Burn never uploads, and Private stays out of Ask, You, connections and resurfacing; Private transcription has a separate permission.
Can I verify an AI answer?
That is a core design goal. Ask answers list source moments you can open, read and play so you can check the answer against what you actually said.
Is this an AI therapist?
No. Smart Rant is a journaling and reflection product. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional care.
